Strong winds and snow squalls expected
Pacific weather system poised to pound Alberta

MEDICINE HAT — The weather map shows a multitude of warnings and watches from Environment Canada, as a Pacific system is poised to storm into Alberta.
Environment Canada has issued a warning about wind and a snow squall watch, as a system from the Pacific move across the mountains and into Alberta today.
The storm will begin with wind gusts from the west as high as 90 kilometers an hour.
The wind will then shift to the north – but the arrival of the cold front is also expected to produce brief periods of intense snowfall and reduced visibilities.
