RCMP charge Medicine Hat man following break & enter, stolen property

CYPRESS COUNTY, AB – Redcliff RCMP have charged a Medicine Hat man following a break and enter and possession of stolen property this week.

Redcliff RCMP say shortly before 1 pm on October 11, 2020, they responded to a complaint of a break and enter along Township Road 124 in Cypress County.

The investigation alleges a male was found inside a residence asleep, after breaking in.

36-year-old Danny Snyder has been charged with break and enter into a residence, two counts of possession of stolen property under $5,000, one count of Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, and one count of Possession of Break-In Instruments.

Snyder’s first court appearance was for today, October 15 in Medicine Hat.

According to RCMP, a search warrant was obtained, leading to the recovery of an ATM which contained a significant amount of cash.

Redcliff RCMP continue their investigation into the source of the ATM with regional law enforcement partners.
