Medicine Hat Mall cancels trick or treating for 2020

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The province’s chief medical officer of health has no plans to cancel Halloween this year, but the Medicine Hat Mall has cancelled its annual trick or treating celebration.
The mall announced the decision on Facebook this morning.
“The health and safety of our tenants, employees and shoppers are of the utmost importance to us. Since our indoor event numbers far exceed the provincial guidelines for indoor gatherings, we have come to the difficult but necessary decision to cancel Halloween Trick or Treating this year.”
