Friday reopening hoped for

Saratoga Dog Park temporarily closed

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The Saratoga Dog Park is closed for the remainder of Thursday and the city’s Parks & Recreation Department says it hopes to open the park on the afternoon of Sept. 25.

According to a release from the city, heavy equipment will be brought into the area, entering and exiting the compound throughout Thursday. The gates will be locked during the activity.

The city suggests dog owners can instead take their pooches to play at the WestVue Dog Park on 11 Avenue SW, near the Gas City Campground.
