Ontario reports higher daily COVID-19 cases after Trudeau warns second wave is here
Canada’s most populous province is reporting an increase in new daily COVID-19 case numbers a day after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau warned the pandemic’s second wave could make for a tough fall.
Ontario reported 409 new infections today, up from 335 on Wednesday.
There has also been one new death related to the novel coronavirus in the province.
Health Minister Christine Elliott says nearly two-thirds of new cases are in people under 40.
