15-year-old charged in Monday liquor store robbery

MEDICINE HAT, AB – A 15-year-old male has been charged in the robbery of a South Railway Street liquor store on the evening of Sept. 21.
According to a release from Medicine Hat Police Service, the teen entered Track Side Liquor Store just before 8 p.m. on Monday, produced a pellet gun and demanded cash from the staff member. The offender fled with an undisclosed amount of money. There were no physical injuries sustained in the robbery.
The male faces charges of robbery with an offensive weapon and wearing a disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence.
