Lightning beat Bruins in double overtime to take series in five games

Victor Hedman’s shot at 14:10 of the second overtime went in off teammate Patrick Maroon as the Lightning defeated the Boston Bruins 3-2 on Monday to win their second-round series 4-1 and advance to the Eastern Conference final.
Anthony Cirelli and Ondrej Palat scored in regulation for the Lightning, while Andrei Vasilevskiy stopped 45 shots inside an empty Scotiabank Arena. Hedman and Kevin Shattenkirk finished with two assists apiece.
David Krejci, with a goal and an assist, and David Pastrnak replied for the Bruins. Jaroslav Halak made 32 saves.
