CYPRESS COUNTY, AB- Fire crews in Cypress County are continuing to work to put out a structure fire along Range Road 55 , and South Boundary Rd.

Large plumes of smoke have been visible from the scene since about 2 p.m. Saturday.

Trucks carrying water could be seen traveling to the area. EMS and the Medicine Hat Fire Service are also on the scene.

A home is reportedly on fire and South Tech Auto, a mechanic shop is also on the property. Cypress County fire crews have not yet confirmed the state of either building.

According to nearby residents, the homeowners of the property are on holidays and no one was home at the time of the blaze.
