Irrigation lines to be replaced at city cemetery

Aug 7, 2020 | 3:23 PM

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The city will replace aging irrigation lines in Hillside Cemetery this year and work to expand the Columbarium area.

Over the next couple of years the entire irrigation system at the cemetery will be replaced in phases, says the city.

The northeast section of the cemetery and the Columbarium garden area will be impacted by this year’s work. It’s set to begin in early August and last until November.

Visitation hours will be modified for anyone wishing to visit this area of the grounds. A detour for vehicles through the grounds will also be in place. Information will be provided at the gate and office.
