Jam session at Police Point Park

Aug 5, 2020 | 1:19 PM

MEDICINE HAT, AB – If you’ve got the music in you, park interpreters want you to bring it to the Police Point Park Nature Centre this weekend.

On Saturday night, the park will host a Music in Nature jam session.

The Interpretive Program is inviting any and all music lovers and musicians to the 7 p.m. jam.

“We will make some musical memories for the Summer of 2020,” a news release reads, encouraging fun while being mindful of yourself and others. “We encourage social distancing between musician cohorts and onlookers.”

Anyone attending is encouraged to bring their musical instrument of choice, a chair or blanket to sit on and “an open mind to either participate or enjoy listening to whatever may be created – from harmony to cacophony!”

This is a new experience at the park and could become a regular feature.
