Golf cart set on fire; Mounties investigating possible arson

REDCLIFF, AB — Redcliff RCMP are investigating after a golf cart was set ablaze at Golden Sheaf Regional park at Rattlesnake Lake early on Aug. 4.

It happened around 4:30 a.m.

A Facebook report claims the golf cart was doused in gasoline and the fuel was also spread in the direction of a camper occupied by a woman with two children.

People in the campground were able to put out the fire quickly, and no one was hurt.

Damage is reported as minor.
