Taber 7-Eleven reportedly closed due to COVID-19 case

TABER, AB – A 7- Eleven in Taber has temporarily closed due to a confirmed case of COVID-19.

A letter posted outside the establishment states; β€œThe health and safety of our customers, employees and the communities we serve is the top priority of 7- Eleven Canada. We have a team member with a confirmed case of COVID-19 at this store.”

The letter was reportedly posted outside the store on 50 Avenue.

The staff has been directed to self-isolate, with pay for 14- days while the store remains closed for enhanced cleaning and sanitization.

Customers who visited the store between July 13- July 25 are being asked to take the COVID-19 online self-assessment tool.
