Raymond hosting Drive-in Concert featuring Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani & Trace Adkins

RAYMOND, AB– Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, and Trace Adkins will be showcased through an Encor Live drive-in show of a special concert.

On July 25th, Raymond will host the drive-in-concert, showcasing the musical talents of the three artists, on a four-story tall screen.

The never before seen concert is one of many shows in Canada and one of around 300 shows across North America, to be hosted by various communities.

Raymond’s Director of Community Development & Human Resources Greg Robinson says this show will be special during this time of Covid-19.

“It’s brand new material for people to see and drive-in-concerts are the way we’re going through this time.”

Robinson said that last month Encor Live put on a Garth Brooks concert and sold out everywhere.

The drive-in venue will ensure people’s safety with the ongoing pandemic and vehicles will be appropriately spaced.

Tickets are being sold on Ticketmaster and each ticket accounts for one car that can carry up to six people.

Robinson said for Raymond’s concert specifically, they are currently trying to get food vendors and food trucks to accommodate the concert-goers.

This “old school” style event seems to be the new normal.
