REGINA, SK — The Saskatchewan Health Authority is warning of an emergent situation surrounding the spread of COVID 19 in southwest and west central parts of the province.
Contact tracing and testing has identified additional infections and the S-H-A says there’s an increased risk of transmission to the public in the R-M of Maple Creek and the city of Swift Current, among others.
The cases involved a number of Hutterite communities in the affected areas, with several other unrelated cases.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority is working with the Hutterite Safety Council, and local leadership to mitigate the spread of the virus.
