Resurfacing on Box Springs Boulevard resumes

The final asphalt lift is being installed on Box Springs Boulevard.

The city said Monday that the work began on June 11.

The City of Medicine Hat and the Box Springs Business Group are working together to ensure the needed repairs are completed this summer.

Two lanes of traffic will remain open with no detours in place during the construction. The project also includes paved paths for cyclists.

Construction is expected to last until Sept. 1.
