COVID-19 update: Province confirms 50 new cases

EDMONTON AB- The province confirmed 50 new cases of COVID-19 today (Sunday) bringing the total number of active cases province-wide to 422.

In total, 6861 people have recovered from the virus, and 150 people have died.

Forty-six people are currently hospitalized and six are in ICU throughout the province.

In the South Zone, there are 22 active cases remaining and one case is in hospital.

In Medicine Hat and Brooks, the number of active cases remain unchanged from Saturday. Each city has one active case of COVID-19 remaining.
