Suspect arrested within half an hour

Convenience store robbed; suspect in custody

MEDICINE HAT — A 25 year old male is in police custody after a robbery of the Circle K convenience store in the 15 hundred block of Dunmore road, in Crestwood.

Police got the call at 3:45 this morning and the suspect was arrested about half an hour later.

No one in the store was physically injured and police were able to recover most of the stolen property.

Charges will include robbery, uttering threats and breach of release and probation orders.

The suspect was awaiting a bail hearing and cannot be identified.
