Creek caution

City warns of high creek levels, tunnel hazard

May 21, 2020 | 3:03 PM

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Hatters are being advised to use caution and avoid creeks in the city.

The City of Medicine Hat’s parks and recreation department says spring thaw and recent rain have creeks running at a very fast pace.

As well, city staff are working to repair a hazard at the Kin Coulee/Trans-Canada Highway tunnel trail.

Residents are asked to allow crews space to work safely, including adhering to physical distancing standards of two metres from city workers.
