Police investigating car crash

MEDICINE HAT, AB- The Medicine Hat Police Service is investigating after a driver fled the scene of an early morning crash.

The crash occurred in Strathcona Park at approximately 5:30 a.m.

A police investigation revealed a black sedan was travelling at a high rate of speed and collided with a tree, causing an estimated $10,000 in damage.

A female passenger was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the vehicle has still not been found.
