Kinsmen home lotto draw two weeks away

MEDICINE HAT, AB -The Medicine Hat Kinsmen home lottery draw is two weeks away.

And there’s still time to buy your ticket for the brand new home and 50/50.

The draw was extended in March to a later date due to the COVID-19 pandemic and provincial restrictions.

The original draw date was supposed to be April 1.

Lotto co-chair Steven Pudwell says the Kinsmen are looking forward to a decent year of the fundraiser.

He says if the 50/50 were to be drawn today, someone would be taking home $40-thousand.

“Kinsmen, in general, put about $200-thousand $250-thousand a year back into our community through these fundraisers so this is a big one for us and we’re hoping to come out on the plus side of this so we have some money for future projects in Medicine Hat.”

The Kinsmen Home Lotto draw will be made on May 13 at 2 pm.

You can buy tickets until May 10.

It’s a $10 50/50 ticket.

The home lotto tickets are $100 each or three-pack of home lotto tickets for $250.
