Paws on the porch photos to support Southern Alberta Humane Society

MEDICINE HAT, AB – You and your pet can get professional photos together for a good cause. It’s a fundraiser with the Southern Alberta Humane Society.

De Seaton with the society says local photographers will be taking the photos for “Paws on the Porch”.

Transactions will be made online for $20 dollars which will support the society.

She says photo guidelines include participants following physical distancing rules.

And pictures can only include people and pets from immediate households.

Seaton says many of their fundraising events have been cancelled and they have to get creative.

“Trying to think of the next fundraisers to hold us through every month. Just trying to do something we had a mother cat pregnant with kittens so we have a separate fundraiser for her which has been amazing people have been really good with that. She had 3 kittens and they’re very cute but we need money to keep them going.”

Paws on the Porch starts tomorrow until May 3rd.

There will also be a day scheduled for Suffield and Ralston residents.
