Rossco’s Pub donates 300 Easter meals to food bank

MEDICINE HAT, AB -300 donated meals were handed out this week for local families to enjoy on Easter weekend.

Owner of Rossco’s Pub Ross Beach donated the meals to the Medicine Hat Food Bank.

He and his chef cooked up ham, veggies, stuffed potatoes, and mac and cheese.

They were made on Monday and distributed this week for families to warm up on Easter.

Beach says he worked together with the food bank’s executive director Celina Symmonds about what they need during this time.

The food bank some had hams to use up and Beach donated the rest.

“Easter time she said we got high demand for people that really need food and they’re going through difficult times. So I said how about we make some Easter dinners so a family can sit down and actually have an Easter dinner and have a family get together.”
