Alberta COVID-19 cases increase by 106, with 2 more deaths

HATHEDMONTON, AB. — As of Saturday afternoon, Alberta’s confirmed cases of COVID-19 has increased by 106 cases for a new total of 1181.

A total of 20 deaths have now been reported in the province, with two additional deaths reported in the past 24-hours. Both deaths were in the Calgary Zone.

In South Zone, the province confirmed cases have increased by two, taking the total to 18, with both of the cases in Medicine Hat.

— Medicine Hat – eight cases (2 new)

— South Lethbridge – three cases

— West Lethbridge – three cases

— M.D. of Taber – two cases

— County of Forty Mile – one case

— Cypress County – one case

Alberta Health Services reports 64,108 tests have been completed and there have been 196 recovered cases.
