Co-op: Plenty of fuel as spring seeding nears
MEDICINE HAT, AB – South Country Co-op is reassuring farmers that fuel won’t be a problem as spring seeding is set to begin soon.
“Whether it’s preparing the field for this year’s crop or finishing last year’s harvest, Western Canadian growers can be confident that our Fuel Team is ready to meet their fuel requirements,” says Brian Humphreys, Vice-President of Energy at Federated Co-operatives Limited, of which South Country Co-op is a member.
The company says it’s been out in front placing fuel as close to farmers as possible, adding fuel supply is high and there are no production concerns at the Co-op Refinery Complex.
The Co-op Fuel Team works together with farmers to provide advice on storage tanks, remote tank monitoring and propane system installations and seasonally adjusted fuels and synthetic and non-synthetic lubricants.
