No new COVID-19 cases in South Zone

EDMONTON, AB – No new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Alberta Health Service’s South Zone Saturday but Alberta did see 79 more diagnosis across the province in the past day, according to the latest update.
In the South Zone, Medicine Hat and Lethbridge are both reporting five confirmed cases with the M.D. having two with the AHS reporting area the only one not to record an increase on Saturday.
Calgary continues to lead the province in positive testing with 41 new cases in the past 24 hours followed by 19 new cases in Edmonton.
The number of hospitalization of COVID-19 paitents has risen by 15 to 38 total across Alberta with 12 of those now in intensive care units.
