Sunshine festival goes dark this year

Spectrum Festival cancelled

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The organizers of the annual Spectrum Festival announced the cancellation of this year’s event.

Below is the statement posted to Facebook.

With Spectrum scheduled to be held just 2 short months from now, it has become increasingly evident that, given the prevailing environment, it will not be possible to plan for, and responsibly provide, a safe and successful event.

For the past few weeks, the Spectrum Festival organizing committee has been closely monitoring the evolving coronavirus pandemic, along with the recommendations, orders, and forecasts from public health organizations and governmental agencies.
