City to remove dead trees from alongside highway

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Traffic will be reduced on Red Deer Drive SW on Monday as the city’s parks and recreation department conducts dead tree removal operations.

The work will take place alongside the Trans-Canada Highway at the corner of Sixth Street SW and Red Deer Drive.

Motorists are asked to drive carefully while in the area.

Additional trees will be planted within the city’s parks system, with locations and times to be determined at a later date.
