Latest COVID 19 diagnosis is in Medicine Hat

Medicine Hat records first case of COVID 19

MEDICINE HAT — Medicine Hat has it’s first recorded case of COVID 19.

That was included in the latest update from the province yesterday; the Medicine Hat case is one of 2 in the south zone of the province, which is everywhere south of Calgary.

The other case previously announced in this zone is in Lethbridge.

The province says there were 22 additional cases late yesterday, that makes 119 in all of Alberta.

Many of the infections happened as a result of a dental conference held in Vancouver two weeks ago.
