MEDICINE HAT β€” A fast moving cold front is bringing high winds and snow squalls to southern Alberta this morning.

A wind warning for Medicine Hat and area has ended, but it’s been replaced with a snow squall warning as the front tracks quickly from the northwest.

Conditions can change from clear skies to heavy snow within a few kilometers and visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.

Winds are also expected to gust as high as 80 kilometers an hour – and could top 100 in areas near the Cypress Hills provincial park.
