Medicine Hat man facing multiple stolen property charges

MEDICINE HAT, AB — A 33-year-old Medicine Hat man is facing multiple stolen property charges following a recent investigation.
Jason Higdon was arrested by police after a search warrant was executed at a home in the 500 block of Fifth Street Southeast on Tuesday.
Police recovered stolen property and stolen identity documents, which are currently being returned to their relevant owners.
Higdon has been charged with multiple counts of possession of stolen property, possession of identity documents and possession of credit card data. He was also charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public, possession of a prohibited weapon, as well as breaches related to weapons prohibitions and previous release orders.
