Alberta Premier Jason Kenney has announced $100 million for the first phase of expansion of

Kenney said consultations on what should be included in phase one will begin soon and that construction will begin in 2021.

Health Minister Tyler Shandro confirmed that a cardiac catheterization lab will be included in the first phase.

“The people have been heard,” said Mayor Tara Veer. “This victory belongs to the people of Red Deer and central Alberta.”
