LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) Crime Suppression Team (CST) arrested eight people from two homes in the 1800 block of 1 Ave North Friday (Feb 21) afternoon.

Sgt. Rod Pastoor told LNN that there has been plenty of foot traffic to these homes “in regards to the payment and so forth for drugs.”

Police have been aware of the issues for a while now and have received numerous complaints from neighbours.

Pastoor added that they are working with the Safer Communities and Neighbourhoods (SCAN) unit to potentially shut the properties down.

Multiple charges for drugs, weapons and property offences have been laid. However, names have not been released yet.
