City hosting open house on spring construction near Kipling Street

MEDICINE HAT, AB — Medicine Hat’s municipal works department will provide information next week on what residents can expect this spring on Kipling and Spencer Street.

The city is planning to upgrade water mains, sanitary sewer lines and storm sewers, along with road rehabilitation along the Kipling and Spencer Street Southeast corridor from Kingsway Avenue to College Avenue.

A date for the project to begin has not been announced, but the city plans to be out in the spring.

An open house will take place on February 26 from 4-6 p.m. at the Municipal Works building (188 Kipling Street SE). Residents will be able to learn about the scope of the project and be able to provide feedback.

A second open house will take place during the spring, closer to the start date. A date has not yet been finalized for the second open house.
