STRATHMORE — Cooper Hilworth scored with just over six minutes to play in regulation, as the Medicine Hat Cubs beat the Wheatland Kings 2-1, taking their Heritage Junior B Hockey League first round series in four games.

Spencer Chapman scored the Cubs first goal in the opening twenty minutes.

Logan Leroux stopped 32 shots in the Medicine Hat net.

The win moves the Cubs into the second round against the Cochrane Generals.
