MEDICINE HAT, AB – What’s old is new again for the Medicine Hat College Rattlers men’s basketball team, announcing a former player will be returning to the program next fall.

The Rattlers announced on Saturday night they had signed guard David Simon, who will be joining their 2020-21 roster.

Simon, a native of Regina, will be returning to MHC after taking a year away from the Rattlers.

Dressing in 10 career games with the Rattlers between 2017-2019, Simon averaged 8.2 points per game and three rebounds per game last season in nine contests.

Simon also started three games for the MHC men’s team last year and shot almost 40 percent from beyond the arc.

The Rattlers men’s basketball team will wrap up its season with a home-and-home series with the SAIT Trojans next weekend, with their final home game coming on Saturday at 8:00 pm.
