Lethbridge Police investigating apparent homicide
LETHBRIDGE, AB – Lethbridge Police are on scene of two residences in the city, investigating what they’re calling an apparent homicide.
LPS says they responded to a residence along the 200 block of University Drive West at around 10:30 p.m. Thursday night (February 6).
Upon arrival, officers found the body of a 35-year-old male inside the home. The preliminary investigation by the Criminal Investigation Section has determined that the incident was not random, and the individuals involved are known to one another, according to a release from the LPS.
Police remain on scene at the residence, as well as at a second residence along Henderson Lake Boulevard. LPS says there is “no evidence to suggest any ongoing risk to neighbours or the public at either location”.
