ALERT charge three after meth seized during traffic stop

MEDICINE HAT, AB — The Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team have charged three people from Medicine Hat and Redcliff after $15,000 worth of methamphetamine was seized earlier this week.

The ALERT Organized Crime Team, along with the Medicine Hat Police Service, made the arrests on Tuesday following a planned traffic stop. A total of 253 grams of methamphetamine was seized during the stop.

Olivia Marshall, 29, of Medicine Hat, has been charged with possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking and breach of a court release order.

Patrick Brill, 33, of Medicine Hat, was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Travis Lange, 28, of Redcliff, was charged with possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.

ALERT is alleging the suspects were transporting methamphetamine into Medicine Hat.
