MEDICINE HAT, AB — Medicine Hat Tigers rookie Cole Sillinger will not dress for the team this weekend due to injury.
Tigers assistant coach Ryan Smith confirmed Sillinger suffered an upper-body injury during Tuesday’s home game against the Swift Current Broncos.
“He won’t play this weekend, that’s for sure,” he said. “We’re getting a few opinions on what is happening with him. He won’t dress this weekend, and we’ll just take it day-by-day.”
Smith noted Sillinger, who leads the WHL in scoring among rookies (18 goals, 28 assists), is a big part of the team this season.
