Brooks man charged following alleged stabbing

BROOKS, AB — A 30-year-old man from Brooks has been charged following an alleged stabbing earlier this week.
On Tuesday, RCMP received reports of a man in Brooks walking near a Mac’s store shirtless and suffering from a stab wound to the chest.
According to a news release, officers discovered the stabbing was allegedly the result of a familial dispute, and the other male involved suffered head trauma. Both men have seen been released from hospital.
Charles Pantherbone of Brooks has been charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and failing to comply with release order conditions.
