UPDATED: Power restored to customers south of Medicine Hat

CYPRESS COUNTY, AB – Power has returned to around 60 customers south of Medicine Hat after an early afternoon outage.

Just after 1:00 pm, power was lost along Highway 3 stretching from Township Road 122 to South Boundary Road SW.

The City of Medicine Hat has confirmed that power was restored following the unplanned outage to the area shortly after 2:00 pm.

There is no word yet on what caused the brief outage.
