Medical event leads early morning traffic crash

“Erratic driver” suffered medical event; involved in two crashes

MEDICINE HAT — A report of an erratic driver this morning on Trans Canada Way and Dunmore road S.E. turned out to be a medical event.

A car was reported driving on the wrong side of the Trans Canada highway from Dunmore to Medicine Hat around 6:49 this morning.

The vehicle entered the ditch and got back into the appropriate west bound lane.

But it then went off the road again, hitting a power power before continuing into Medicine Hat.

Another collision, this time with a vehicle on Ross Glen Drive ended the incident.

No injuries were reported by either driver, although the one with the medical event was sent to hospital.
