RCMP continue to investigate fatal crash near Taber

TABER, AB — RCMP say the six people injured in a fatal collision on Highway 36 on Friday remain in hospital.

RCMP confirmed to CHAT News on Monday that the six injured remain in hospital recovering from the crash, and are all currently listed in stable condition.

The crash, which occurred on Friday on Highway 36 near Secondary Highway 875, saw a truck heading south on the highway collide with a passenger van heading north.

The driver of the truck, a 31-year-old male from Saskatoon, along with the driver of the van, a 26-year-old man from Camrose, were both killed in the collision. A 29-year-old man from Medicine Hat and a 25-year-old from Edmonton, who were both passengers in the van, were also killed in the collision.
