Cold week ahead for Albertans

MEDICINE HAT — Volker Stevin crews are out this morning taking care of snowfall that has covered some roads in the district.

Highway 41 from the Trans Canada highway south to Elkwater is listed as snow covered by Alberta 5-1-1.

Same thing for 41 north from the Golden Prairie Road to the South Saskatchewan river.

But visibility is not an issue.

Environment Canada has an extreme cold warning in place but says temperatures could moderate on Saturday.
