Amber Alert cancelled; child found unharmed

HINTON, AB — RCMP have officially cancelled the Amber Alert that has been in effect in Alberta for much of the day Friday.
According to a news release from the RCMP, a 14-month-old child allegedly abducted by his father was located unharmed Friday afternoon.
The child’s father is currently in police custody.
The investigation is underway.
Police are expected to provide additional information later Friday.
All previous posts identifying the child have been removed.
