One dead from gunshot wound, Lacombe Police investigating

Lacombe, AB – Lacombe Police Service is investigating after a male died Sunday morning from a gunshot wound.

LPS says it was in the early morning hours of Dec. 15 when they responded to a complaint of a male who had suffered injuries from a gunshot and had been taken to Lacombe Hospital.

Not long after, the male succumbed to his injuries.

The incident has been deemed suspicious. Two persons of interest were identified and have been taken into police custody.

There is no risk to the public and further information will be shared as the investigation progresses.
