When long wait times occur in Health Care everyone complains but it seems that what some want with cuts. Cuts will cause longer wait times. Perhaps when you can’t bath yourself your adult child can help you as home care gets contracted out or your parent can’t cover the cost. Contracted out doesn’t mean saving dollars, as contracted services follow guidelines what they will do. Some services shouldn’t be cut.

I am so thankful for my warm house, my warm and cozy boots and coats, my peaceful life. We live in such a great country and have such a lavish lifestyle compared to most people in the world and yet every week all I read on here is complaining and whining. Is your life really that terrible or are you just that bored? Either way make a change! Volunteer time, help a neighbor, bake something to donate, just stop the wining and political blubbering. You can be the difference in making this city a better place to live. Smile, think positive thoughts and be respectful and kind to others.

AHS definitely needs cuts but not the frontline workers. Too many layers of management. Directors, multiple levels managers, supervisors, team leads, not to mention CEOs as well.

I can’t believe that Volker Stevin and the City weren’t out early Sunday to clear the deep snow on the primary roads and highways. Some people do work Sunday mornings too not just weekdays!

So please with the winter we’ve had so far. Even though there have been a couple of days with heavy-ish snow, the temperatures have been stellar.
