Truck used in Oyen smash and grab

Oyen, AB – Oyen Mounties are on the look out for two suspects who used a pickup truck to smash through the entrance of a convenience store in the town.

The incident occurred at 6 a.m. Saturday morning when a Ford F350 was used to gain entry to the front of Debmart Cafe and Convenience located on Main Street.

The truck was used to remove an ATM machine with two masked bandits also removing lottery tickets and cigarettes from the store.

The Ford F350 was torched in an undisclosed rural area with witnesses reporting to RCMP seeing a jacked-up, dark-coloured Dodge Ram pickup towing a white enclosed trailer fleeing the area of the burnt-out vehicle.
