MEDICINE HAT — City police had to deal with vandals, shop lifters and the theft of a candy bag on Halloween.

Someone took a baseball bat to some vehicle windows in the Flats.

Some children also had their candy bags taken while trick or treating in the Ross Glen area.

Police were also called to deal with two shop lifting incidents at Wal Mart.

There were also the usual calls for eggs being thrown.

Residents are asked to check their property this morning to make sure everything is ok.
