RCMP responding to serious collision on Trans-Canada Highway
MEDICINE HAT, AB — RCMP and emergency officials are responding to a serious motor vehicle collision involving two vehicles on the Trans-Canada Highway.
According to Redcliff RCMP, the collision happened at 12:46 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of the Trans Canada highway at Range Road 101, west of Suffield, and involved two semis.
The crash closed the highway at the area of the collision for almost seven hours. A release from the RCMP said the highway reopened by 7:30 p.m.
