VIDEO: Virtue and Moir say goodbye with ‘Rock the Rink’ performance

MEDICINE HAT, AB – It was a fitting send off for two of Canada’s greatest Olympians, as Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir delighted the crowd at the Canalta Centre on Saturday.

The two-time gold medal winning duo of Virtue and Moir headlined the ‘Rock the Rink’ tour, which made a stop in Medicine Hat almost a year to the day after the ‘Thank You Canada’ event.

Fellow Canadians Patrick Chan, Kaetlyn Osmond and Elvis Stojko also hit the Canalta Centre ice alongside Italy’s Carolina Kostner, the United States’ Jeremy Abbott, and Russian pair Tatiana Volosozhar and Maxim Trankov.

Officially retiring from the sport last month, the ‘Rock the Rink’ tour served as Virtue and Moir’s last cross-Canada tour.
